Now, we are going to bring onDemand CRM to key industry segments.


Craig Ramsey, Co-Chairman

Craig Ramsey is Co-Chairman of Veeva Systems and a 35-year veteran of the technology industry.

Most recently, Mr. Ramsey served as Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales for Siebel Systems. While at Siebel, he oversaw the company's sales growth from $4 million to more than $1.5 billion. Prior to Siebel, Ramsey was VP of U.S. sales at Oracle Corporation. Previously, Ramsey held positions at Amdahl as well as other high tech software and hardware companies. Ramsey began his career in technology with IBM, and currently sits on the board of salesforce.com, ArcSight, Pay By Touch, and Guidewire.

Mark Armenante, Co-Chairman

Mark Armenante is Co-Chairman of Veeva Systems.

Prior to founding Veeva Systems, Mark spent over 10 years with Siebel Systems. Mark was Siebel's first Vice President of Sales and held several Group Vice President roles managing Alliances, Operations, and Siebel's OnDemand division. Prior to Siebel, he was President of PharmaSystems, Inc., an early innovator in pharmaceutical sales force management. PharmaSystems automated sales forces at Ciba-Geigy, Sandoz, Warner Lambert, Schering-Plough and other pharmaceutical manufacturers. Mark joined Oracle in 1987 to form the Pharmaceutical vertical sales organization in addition to other pioneering vertical product lines. Prior to Oracle Corporation Mark spent seven years with Information Resources, Inc., as Senior Vice President, Sales which served the Consumer Products and Pharmaceutical Industries.

Mark holds an MBA, Finance from Ohio University and a BS, Biochemistry from Case Western Reserve University.

Young Sohn, Director

Young Sohn is a twenty-five year veteran of the software industry and is a Director of Veeva Systems.

Young was the founder and CEO of Nomadic Systems which was acquired by Siebel Systems to form the basis of the Siebel Life Sciences Division. She ran that division as its General Manager until early 2001. Under her leadership, the Siebel Life Sciences Division became a clear market leader and a thought leader in the pharmaceutical CRM space. Prior to Nomadic Systems, Young held an executive management position at PharmaSystems. PharmaSystems was an early innovator in pharmaceutical sales force automation that provided solutions for Ciba- Geigy, Sandoz and Schering-Plough among other pharmaceutical manufacturers. Previously, Young spent six years at Oracle Corporation in the Pharmaceutical vertical organization.

Young received a BA in Business Management from Cornell University.

Jeff Amann, Director

Mr. Amann was previously with Siebel Systems, Inc. (now part of Oracle Corporation), which he joined in 1996 and helped build into an industry leader with more than $1.4 billion in revenue. Mr. Amann oversaw Siebel's worldwide legal affairs as General Counsel and a member of the company's executive management committee. He helped guide the company through its initial and secondary public offerings, and successfully closed more than 20 acquisitions on behalf of Siebel – including its $5.8 billion sale to Oracle Corporation in 2006. He also helped Siebel expand its operations to approximately 5,000 employees in more than 30 countries worldwide, and helped the company build one of the largest patent portfolios in its industry.
